Why The Arena Sucks

I walk in, first time ever, to look at the Arena. There's a 47-50 thing starting, so I sign up. 3 on 3.

Now, if I'd known that all the rest of them were on the SAME SUPERGROUP....

5 level 50s and my lvl 48 blaster. My teammates did nothing as the opposition concentrated on me.

On the second death I clocked out. Screw them.

I said this in Talos as I left for PI:

THE ARENA SUCKS DEAD MONKEY NUTS.

Mad problems!

I have this little but BIG problem in my case.

Every time I walk forward about 6 steps it pulls me back to about 4 steps from where I was. It's like a glitch or something and it bothers me because it takes me like 15 seconds to get from one end of the hospital to the other. (AND IT SHOULD SO NOT TAKE THAT LONG!)

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this problem?
Worlds of Warcraft and other games don't do this for me just CoH.

Stackable Armors

Can someone refresh my memory as to how stacking armors work with regards to the numbers? I seem to remember something put in the patch notes about it, but I can't find the patch notes to check it out. Alternately, someone who can point me to the patch notes so that I can read it myself would be just as nice. Thanks!

Having trouble on Freedom

I had a bad experience on freedom last night. My problem... I couldn't find a team to save my life. I tried once to form a team, but everyone left as fast as I found them. It would *seem* that no one on freedom likes to play in teams at all. I was in team seek for about 2 hours, and no one at all picked me up. I know it is hard as a lowbie level 5 character, but it shouldn't be that hard. Especially for a server that has decent population most of the time.

So... I am asking for help. I don't need much. I am just trying to get to level 10. I should be pretty good to go then. This is part of a project I am working on. One that I am not sure if going to work... and so I am kinda keeping it quiet for now.

So is there any one on freedom that could team up with me? I don't know if I can tonight, but I would be more than happy on Monday or something like that. I just need some friends on freedom to get around for a while.

Thank you for your time, and hope to see you all in game!

So, I'm toying around with the idea of making a character purely for badge hunting. Ok, I'm not toying around, I've already made her. What do I need to look out for in terms of accidentally missing badges? For example, if you miss the Isolator badge, you're out of luck. I don't want that to happen. I don't know what I'm going to do to about the healing badges (Maybe get Heal Other and just play the good doctor for a while? Don't worry, no spam-heals...)

Anything you guys think I should look out for?

Goddamned Vahzilok

Ok, I just got done playing CoH for the afternoon and I'm pretty pissed off. My kin/energy was teamed with my girlfriend's kin/elec and we were doing the rescue 7 hostages from the zombies mission. I remember having problems with it with my rad/rad back when he was a lowbie, but I thought I would give it a shot again. Jeez. Unfucking believable. I died four times. Most of the zombies conned yellow to me. My beefs

1. The zombies are always in large groups.
2. The cadavers/abominations have a powerful ranged attack (vomit with DoT) and a good melee attack (backhand pimp slap).
3. Most heroes have little to no resistance against the vomit.
4. The cadavers/abominations cannot be immobilized or put to sleep.
5. They are resistant to smashing damage.
6. The mortificators rez the bad guys and are hard to interrupt.
7. The morts and reapers shoot you with darts that do a lot of damage and slow you.
8. The embalmed zombies can vomit on you, backhand you or blow up.

It's been my experience that an even con zombie is really like a +1 bad guy. I think they're worse than DE. I'd rather take two Oranbega missions than one stupid zombie mission. Ok, maybe they aren't that bad, but you get the idea.

Does anyone else feel this way? I think the zombies are vastly overpowered along with the Bone Daddies.

Also, does anyone feel like they're missing a lot more than usual? I was hitting a lot less than 75% of the time, even against blue guys, and it didn't seem that way before the new release.

I think that I'll sit on this mission for a level or two.

Arena Etiquitte

...or rather should there be?

I'm in a three on three match and it's rough from the get-go. The other team is mostly at the top of the weight class, my team is near the bottom. But it still seems, with a little coordination, within the realm of possiblity that we can do well.

Predictibly, things are rough when, after a few, one of the team members makes some comment about how he hates the SR nerf. Somewhat later I look at the team list as I hadn't seen him in a while and he's not there. Needless to say, being gone made it worse for the remaining two of us.

You know what happens next. The other player says something like "we should leave while we still have our pride," to which I respond "It's PvP - there is no pride." Soon enough he's gone too, which leaves me completely at the mercies of the remaining players, but doing a decent job running around like a chicken with its head cut off until the match ended.

Now, the other players did put out on broadcast (a message I missed) of whether I had any teammates left. They may have let up some on fighting me or maybe not - it's hard to tell in these sorts of things. Now, when the match was over, I was thanked profusely for my continuing to fight even though the others left. It seemed to me the right sort of thing to do - you sign up for a match and you see it through to the end.

But what should have happened?
